The ‘Bruce Munro: Tropical Light’ exhibition will offer a range of volunteering roles to get involved in. There will be new roles announced each month. To stay on top of volunteer announcements please email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be emailed alerts.
The first volunteer role announcement is with the Bruce Munro Studio installation team.
Dates for Bruce Munro Installation volunteer team: Monday 23rd September - Friday 1st November 2019.
Working hours will be dependent on weather, to avoid hottest parts of the day and rain, with some hours in the day and some hours in the early evening. These will be confirmed closer towards installation.

Volunteer Tasks for Installation
Volunteers must be aged 18 or over, hard-working and happy to follow instruction. An interest in art is desirable but not essential.
It is preferred that volunteers work a minimum of three shifts. It is also preferable that volunteers stay with us for a whole day, working both morning and afternoon shifts. Volunteers will be required to carry out the following actions/tasks whilst working on the Installation:
- Walking over/through trailing fibre optics
- Carrying awkward objects
- Various repetitive tasks
- Repeatedly bending down
- Repeatedly walking back and forth
- Using small hand tools
- Threading fibre optics
- Working on uneven terrain
- All tools are supplied
- Food and water is supplied
- Need to wear closed in shoes and sun smart clothing (hats, long sleeves)
